日本代购-PRSはフェンダー・ギブソンに並ぶ新しい時代のスタンダードなギターブランドです。 彼らが製造する美しいギターはCarlos Santana、John Mayer、Orianthi Panagaris、DAITA、PABLOなど、世界中の一流ミュージシャンが愛用することで知られています。 本モデルは現代の世界三大ギタリストの一人、John Mayer氏のシグネチャーモデル Silver Skyです。 John Mayer氏とPRS Guitars代表のPaul Reed Smith氏が2年の歳月を掛けて研究、開発を繰り返し製品化されました。 世界中で数多くのアーティストに愛されている伝統的なダブルカッタウェイギターをモチーフとしたルックスですが、随所に独自のアイデアを詰め込んでおります。 ボディはAlder、ネックはMaple、指板はRosewoodを採用。 どれもエレキギターの歴史上で欠かせない伝統的な木材です。 塗装は伝統的なラッカーです。 PRSの厳しい規定値をクリアした極薄の厚みでフィニッシュされております。 ネックシェイプは635JM-Rシェイプを採用。 John Mayer氏とPaul Reed Smith氏がこよなく愛する1963年～64年製のビンテージギターの形状を入念にリサーチし、数多くのテストを経て導き出された独自のネックシェイプです。 指板Rは7.25を採用し、SEモデルと比べてよりFenderに近く、ヴィンテージギターライクなフィーリングを持ちます。 スケールは伝統的な25.5インチスケールを採用。 PRSの標準的な25インチスケールよりもやや長いスケールを採用しております。 ヘッド部分はPRS独自のデザインを基にリバースヘッド仕様にアレンジ。 John Mayer氏のプレイスタイルに合わせたSilver Sky独自のデザインです。 チューニングマシンはビンテージスタイルのクルーソンながら、ロッキングタイプのペグを左右非対称にマウント。 ブリッジはオリジナルデザインの6点支持トレモロユニットを採用。 またJohn Mayer氏の拘りによりブリッジはベタ付けのセッティングで出荷されております。 アームアップには対応しませんが、弦振動をダイレクトにボディに伝えることができ、フローティングのセッティングと比べてタイトなサウンドを出力します。 ピックアップはSilver Sky専用の635JMを採用。 1963年～64年製のビンテージギターのサウンドをモチーフとしたシングルコイルピックアップです。 シングルコイルピックアップの煌びやかさを持ちつつも高音域が痛くなり過ぎないバランスの良いサウンドを持ちます。 ブライトさが損なわれているという訳ではなく、余計な帯域をカットすることで伝統的なシングルコイルサウンドをより現代的に洗練したような印象です。 ノブやジャックプレート等のハードウェア類にはPRS独自のデザインのものを採用。 伝統的なルックスにワンポイントの個性が見えるのも魅力的です。 余談ですがJohn Mayer氏が楽器を忘れてしまっても、お店で購入してそのままライブで使用できる程のクオリティに仕上げているとの事です。 ヴィンテージギターのフィーリングを持ちつつPRSならではの高い演奏性を兼ね備えた逸品。 ハイクオリティで実用的なシングルコイルのギターをお探しの方に是非一度弾いていただきたいです。 付属品：ギグバッグ、アーム、保証書 文章：小澤鉄平 検品担当 : 小澤 メーカー保証付き 頑丈な段ボール箱で発送します。 海外向けの発送にも対応します。 item will be packed with a hard cardboard box. we do ship internationally.
