日本代购-再入荷しました！ 1950年代にアメリカで大流行した、サドルシューズ（正式名サドル・オックスフォード）を再現してみました。 1950年代、アイビーの流行と共にコンビの代表的な靴であるサドルシューズが全米で大流行。特にティーンエイジャーの間では大半の人が所有するほどの流行を見せました。 主な特徴はアッパーが淡色で、甲に当たる「サドル部分」がブラウンやブラックの濃色でした。この甲部分が「乗馬時に使用する鞍＝サドル」に似ている事、靴紐を通して履く短靴という意味のオックスフォード（大学名に由来）が合わさってサドル・オックスフォードと呼ばれる様になりました。 ドライボーンズで企画しているサドルオックスフォードは、1950年代に流行した特徴的なデザインを有しています。 基本的な「サドル」や「オックスフォード」は忠実に再現しつつ、若干手を加えているのです。 まずはサドル部分。本来のサドル部分は甲部分を中央から左右に下ろしてコバで縫い込む形状になりますが…ドライボーンズで採用したデザインは、サドル部分のレザーの一部が後ろに伸びてトップを覆い、バックセンターに繋がっているのです。 1950年代の一時期にだけ流行した、ちょっとスペイシーさを感じるデザイン。またこうする事で、履き口であるトップ部分の補強にもなっています。 更にオックスフォード部分にも手を加えました。こう言ったデザインは内羽根式と呼ばれ、紐を通す部分のパーツがアッパーの革に入り込んで全開にならないデザイン。 足の甲が低くて細い欧米人は、このデザインを上手に履きこなせます。ところが甲高の東洋人は、内羽根式だとこの部分が開いてしまってどうにも不細工に見えてしまうのです。 そこで私は靴工場のパターンナーさんと話し合い、この羽根部分の先端を左右5～8mmづつ出す事にしました。そうする事で紐で綺麗に締めることが可能になるのです。 内羽根式の革靴を綺麗に履きこなす東洋人、今までそれほど多くなかったはず。それを実現できた事は大きいと自負しています。 また更に、コバ部分の細革をオリジナルで生産した「ダブルコバ」仕様にしました。1950年代にだけ流行したFADを、コバ部分で表現しています。 更にこのダブルコバの上段部分の糸はわざとダークグリーンにしました。これは当時の縫製糸が黒だった場合、堅牢度の悪さから褪色してしまった状態を表現しています。 合成皮革ソールやピッグスキン内貼り、マッケイ製法等、なるべく重量を軽くする素材や縫製を選んでいます。 クラシックでエレガント、尚且つ履き易く歩き易い革靴を提案します。 SPECIFICATION No. DSHC-029 MATERIAL 牛革 SIZE 6ハーフ, 7, 7ハーフ, 8, 8ハーフ, 9 COLOR 1.
