日本代购-Description Fender社の元マスタービルダーとして数多くの名機を造り上げて来たジョン・サー（John Suhr）。そんな彼が1997年に自身の納得できるハイクオリティ・ギターを造り上げるために立ち上げたブランド「Suhr Guitars」で、ギターの最高峰を目指し、完璧なトーンを追及するなどFenderというブランドを知り尽くした彼ならではの製作技術の高さを肌で感じることの出来るハイブランドです。 オーストラリア出身の先進的でオリジナリティ溢れるギタリストで、11年前からSuhrのギターを愛用しているジェームス・ノアバート・イヴァニ（James Norbert Ivanyi）。そんな彼の最新シグネチャー・モデルが構想から10年の時を経て完成されました。トップにはロースト処理が施されたプレーン・メイプル、バックには中音域豊かで上品な甘いトーンをアウトプットする正真正銘のマホガニー材、25.5インチ・スケールのネックには硬めでクリアかつ歯切れの良いローステッド・メイプル、24フレット仕様の指板には響きの良い高音域を奏でてくれるエボニーを採用するなどサー・ギターズの厳しい基準をクリアした軽量な材のみ採用されております。ローステッド・メイプルは無酸素の状態で木材を加熱（200℃程度）することで、水分を飛ばし安定した材に仕上げた木材で、ネック反りなどに強く抜群のコンディションを保持。ネックシェイプはテクニカルなプレイヤーに最適で違和感のない握り心地の良さ、バッキングからソロフレーズまでストレスフリーで演奏できる「Modern Elliptical」、どのポジションでもストレスフリーで演奏可能な10"-14"Rの指板、フレット形状は滑らかなフィンガリングと速く正確なプレイを可能にするジャンボ・フレット、フレットの素材はステンレス製ですので音抜けをアップしながらもフレットの摩耗を最小限に抑えるなどプレイヤーのパフォーマンスを最大限に引き出します。 ピックアップ・システムにはHHレイアウトでSuhrが自社開発した「SSH+」と「SSV」の組み合わせを搭載。ブリッジ・ポジションの「SSH+」からは高音域から低音域まで非常にバランスの取れたサウンドでハイゲインでも音の分離が良く、パワー感のあるヌケの良いサウンドが印象的で、「SSV」からは明るめで煌びやかなサウンド・キャラクターを持ちつつもレンジが広く埋もれないサウンドが特徴的です。またコントロールは1ボリュームのみとシンプルな設計で、ボリューム下部にブロワー（Blower）スイッチも装備し、コントロール・キャビティ内のミニポットにより、オン（ON）にしたときギターの音量をプリセット可能です。ペグにはSuhrオリジナルのロック式を搭載しスピーディーな弦交換をお約束。ブリッジにはゴトー製の2点支持止めトレモロ・ブリッジ「510」を搭載することにより、アーミングによるチューニングの狂いを最小限に軽減し、豊かな生鳴り感を活かしてくれるのも嬉しい点です。そしてブラック・パーツを搭載したクールなルックス、ジェームス・ノアバート・イヴァニのサインがレーザー刻印されたヘッド裏も見逃せません。巨匠ジョン・サーとジェームス・ノアバート・イヴァニがタッグを組んだ拘り溢れるモデルに仕上がっております。 Specification Body Shape: Modern Body Wood: Genuine Mahogany Top Wood: 3/16" Roasted Plain Maple Binding: Scraped Body Finish: Gloss Neck Wood: Roasted Maple Fingerboard Wood: Ebony Neck Finish: Satin Neck Back Shape: Modern Elliptical .800"-.850" Fingerboard Radius: 10"-14" Compound Frets: Jumbo Stainless Steel (.057"x.110") Nut: 1.650" Tusq Logo: Decal, Aged Cream Outline Bridge Pickup: SSH Plus (black) Neck Pickup: SSV (black) Special Functions: Push/Pull volume to split both humbuckers. 3-Way blade switch with Preset Blower switch.
