VCAをベースとし、電光石火の速さで正確にノイズを掌握します。適切なスポットを見つけるには、HIGH／LOWのモードを選んでTHRESHOLDを設定するだけです。 HIGHモードではソフトに減衰する音、LOWモードでは素早く閉じる音、お好みのトーンに合わせて設定してください。素早いパーム・ミュートにも問題なく反応し、音の減衰にもバッチリ対応します。ゲートが作動し始めると同時に、LEDが白から青色に変わるので、いつ作動しているかが簡単に確認できます。 ・ブースト機能を搭載 BOOSTコントロールは最大で30dBのゲインを得られます。CUTコントロールは低域を6dBカットでき、サウンドを引き締めることができます。範囲が65Hz?730Hzと広いので、プリアンプをサチュレートさせて、中域が際立ったたリード・サウンドにもできます。 BOOSTのON／OFFは3つのモード〈SYNC｜OFF｜ON〉から選べ、SYNCではGATEと連動してBOOSTがかかります。CUTとBOOSTのノブは光るので、BOOSTセクションのON／OFFが一目で分かります。 ・高品質トランスで豊かなトーンを実現 オーディオ品質のトランスを搭載しており、ギターやベース等のアンバランス信号のインピーダンスを合わせ、更に低い倍音にも暖かみを加えます。ギターやシンセを始め様々な楽器で、サウンドの固さを取り除き豊かなトーンを実現します。EQを単独で使用した場合に発生する位相の問題もありません。 ・余計な低音を抑えるロール・オフ機能 トランスによるバイパスは、トーンにしっかりとした厚みを加えますが、さらにブーストするとプリアンプがオーバーロードし、特に高いゲイン加えた場合に、音が濁ることがあります。そこで、余分な低音を抑えるために（特に刻むリフやソロで）固定のロール・オフを追加しました。これは内蔵のBOOSTセクションをオンにしたときに65 Hz以下で機能します。 ・センド／リターン端子で様々に接続 IN／OUTとSEND／RETURN端子を装備し、様々な接続方法が可能です。昔ながらの4ケーブル・メソッドで繋げばアンプが発するドライブ・サウンドのノイズを防げます。これはアンプのエフェクト・ループや、歪ペダルをSEND／RETURN端子に繋ぐ方法です。こうすることで、ギター｜ベース｜シンセなどのクリアな入力信号がゲートのきっかけとなり、アンプのヒスやバズを除去しながらも、最初のアタックはそのまま維持できます。 ・外部機器で本機を制御 ノイズ・ゲートをアンプの上に置いたり中に入れているけど、時々ゲートをオフにしたいという場合でも、本機なら簡単に対応できます。本機のEXT.
