日本代购-ピエモンテ州、アルバの中心地から北に4km程、サンタ テレザにある小さな蒸留所。1977年がファーストリリースで、現オーナーのパオロ マローロ氏が立ち上げました。趣味から始めたグラッパ造りはやがて高品質すぎるグラッパを生み出し、世界中にその名を広めていくことになります。エリオ アルターレ、ジャコモ コンテルノ、アルド コンテルノ、オッデーロ、プルノット、パオロ スカヴィーノ、アゼリアといった友人でもある有名生産者から集めた高貴品種の搾りかす（ヴィナッチャ）を新鮮なうちに蒸留し、今までにない手法で香りを最大限に引き出したグラッパはテロワールを表現することを可能にしました。世界的に高い評価を受け、それまでは珍しかった樽熟成のグラッパでウイスキーラヴァ―をも魅了します。 マローロの創設者、パオロ マローロ氏 趣味でグラッパ造りを始めたオーナーのパオロ マローロ。当時、グラッパといえば安物の存在で、酔うためだけに存在していた、と言っても過言ではありません。そんな時代にパオロ氏は「造るなら最上級のものを」との思いでグラッパを研究し始めます。そこでたどり着いたのがベン マリーという蒸留器。これは一般的にはオー ド ヴィーで使用されていた蒸留器で、香りを引き出すには最適と判断しました。当時グラッパでは使用されておらず、ここからマローロのグラッパの唯一無二の存在が確立されていきます。 卓越した技術力と情熱 地理的にも恵まれていたパオロ氏は、身近にいる有名なバローロの生産者から原料であるヴィナッチャを手に入れることができます。その最高な原料の良さを地理的にもイタリアで最も有名なワインの生まれるエリアであることから、パオロ氏が　卓越した技術力と情熱の持ち主でグラッパの繊細なアロマと味わいのハーモニーを見事に表現。グラッパの編曲家のような存在として知られています。グラッパの原料に拘り、産地の個性や収穫年などを尊重しつつ純粋な味わいを表現する事に重きを置いています。マローロのグラッパが最初に生産されたのは、1977年。当時、古めかしく、田舎っぽい印象を持った酒であるグラッパを、洗練されたものに昇華させたいという強い思いからパオロ マローロ氏は蒸留を始めました。当時から、高貴品種の絞り滓が、グラッパの品質が向上されると目をつけ拘りのグラッパを造り続けています。 マローロの次の世代を担う若き獅子、ロレンツォ 蒸留所は、現在パオロ氏と息子のロレンツォが中心となって運営しています。幼いころから蒸留所の中を父とともに回り、興味を持っていたロレンツォ。酒造りに関する知識を深く追求したがっていた彼はトリノにある父の母校に進学し酒に関する技術を習得。後に大学では経営を先行し今は父を手伝っています。父、パオロの経験を尊重しつつ、新しいアイディアを追求するなどマローロの次の世代を担う頼れる存在となっています。 ITEM INFORMATION モスカートの品種特有の美しいアロマが グラス一杯に広がる奥深いグラッパ Distilleria Marolo Grappa di Moscato Apres 5 anni マローロ グラッパ ディ モスカート アプレス 5年 モスカート ダスティの搾り滓を蒸留し、5年の木樽熟成を経ています。この樽はモスカート ディ パンテッレリアを造るのに使用した樽を使っています。これによりアンバー色を帯び、リコリスやアーモンドなどのアロマが特徴的な丸みのある味わいに仕上がっています。 Tasting Note モスカート ダスティの搾り滓を蒸留し、シチーリア島のパッシート ディ パンテレリアに使用した樽で5年間熟成。トロピカル フルーツ、桃、イチジクの香りが優雅に広がります。 商品仕様・スペック 生産者マローロ 生産地イタリア/グラッパ 品　種モスカート 内容量700ml 醸　造熟成：フレンチオーク樽にて5年（モスカートのパッシート・ディ・パンテッレリアに使用した樽、225L）瓶熟成：3カ月以上 度数42.00度
