日本代购-フリウリ＝ヴェネツィア・ジューリア州ウーディネにあるノニーノ社は1897年にオラツィオ・ノニーノが創業。 1973年に創設者のひ孫であるベニート・ノニーノと妻のジャンノーラが「イタリアの固有性を保ちつつ高品質な蒸留酒を造りたい」という考えから、地ブドウのピコリットを単一で蒸留したグラッパを醸造しました。 それまでグラッパといえば、ワインの廃品という立ち位置にありブドウの搾り滓を原料にした大量生産が主流。原料の搾り滓がどこのものなのか、何の品種なのか等は、まったく気にされることはありませんでした。 ところがノニーノ社は、単一品種の質のよい搾り滓を丁寧に蒸留した、ブドウの個性が感じられる香り高いグラッパを生み出し、美しいヴェネチアン・グラスのボトルに入れて発売。この商品により「グラッパは洗練された蒸留酒」というイメージを築きあげ、現在のグラッパのイメージを形づくるものとなりました。 これは後に『グラッパ革命』と呼ばれる革新的な出来事となります。 ノニーノ社は今日ではさまざまな品種から、革新的なグラッパ "グラッパ・モノヴィティーニョ" を造っています。 ヴィナッチャ（ブドウの搾り滓）の品質が上質なグラッパの香りを生むことから、搾り滓の品質にこだわります。 8月中旬頃からの3ヶ月間にのみ蒸留されるのは、新鮮な搾り滓が手に入る収穫時期だから。 1～2日でもワイナリーに搾り滓が置いたままの場合、それが搬入された際に長年の経験からすぐにわかるので、ワイナリーに返品します。それをずっと続けてきたからこそ、常にフレッシュでいい原料を使うことができるのです。 ノニーノ社のイタリアの蒸留酒の世界で起こした2つ目の革新的な出来事は、1984年、ブドウ果汁を果皮や種も混ざった状態のまま蒸留した蒸留酒アクアヴィーテ"ウーエ"を発売したことです。 "ウーエ"とはフリウリの方言で"ブドウ(UVE)"を意味します。 当時、ブドウそのものを丸々使うのはもったいないと考える他の蒸留酒メーカーからは理解されず、ノニーノ社が単独で申請してイタリア政府にアクアヴィーテの製造と販売の許可をもらっていました。 販売当初は1985年12月までの期限付きでたが、"ウーエ"シリーズの品質が認められ1989年まで期限が延長。次第に真似をして造り始めるメーカーも出てきました。 こうしてアクアヴィーテの地位が確立し、それ以降も半永久的に政府から認められ、現在ではイタリアの蒸留酒としてグラッパ同様に広く親しまれています。 ITEM INFORMATION カベルネ・フランを果皮ごと蒸留 18年かけて熟成させたグラッパ 余韻の非常に長い逸品 NONINO UE 18Years Riserva ノニーノ ウーエ アクアヴィーテ 18年熟成 ノニーノ・ウーエ・アクアヴィーテ 18年熟成は、イタリアのフリウリ・ヴェネツィア・ジューリア州にある1897年創業の老舗グラッパメーカーが手掛けるグラッパ。 ブドウ品種は、カベルネ・フランを使用。ブドウ果汁を果皮や種も混ざった状態のまま蒸留するという、革新的な製法"アクアヴィーテ"で造られた18年熟成グラッパです。 Tasting Note 透明で、ビロードのようななめらかな琥珀色。アプリコットやリンゴなどのフルーティなアロマに、フルーツジャム、バニラ、アーモンド、ドライフルーツ、ナッツやチョコレートが感じられます。 味わいにはスパイスや熟成による木のニュアンスも感じられる、余韻の非常に長い逸品。 広いバルーンタイプのクリスタルグラスでお召し上がりください。 商品仕様・スペック 生産者ノニーノ 生産地イタリア/フリウリ・ヴェネツィア・ジューリア 内容量700ml 度数45.00度 タイプグラッパ
