日本代购-Information 商 品 名name Marc Pesnot Coeur de Raisins 2024 蔵 元wine maker マルク・ペノ / Marc Pesnot 産 地terroir フランス/France＞ロワール地方/Loire 格 付 けclass ヴァン・ド・フランス / Vin de France ヴィンテージvintage 2024年 品 種cepage ミュスカデ 100% 種 類 / 味わいtype/taste 白white / 辛口dry 容 量net volume 750ml 輸 入importer 正規輸入代理店 野村ユニソンロワール河の下流、ナントの街の周辺にはミュスカデの生産地域が広がります。この地で、底なしの情熱でワイン造りにあたるのがマルク ペノその人です。美味しいワイン造りこそが自分の夢と語るペノ氏は、時間も手間も惜しむことなく、全てをワイン造りに費やしています。 採算度外視でワイン造りにあたるという、そのあまりの情熱のためか、マルク ペノ氏は2007年12月に大変困難な状況に直面します。財務上の理由からドメーヌの運営継続が困難になったのです。全てのワインが出荷停止となり、ワイン造りを続けられるかも定かでない状況にありながら、ペノ氏はあくまで畑に出続けました。曇らない笑顔のまま毎日畑に出ては、収穫できるかもわからない、ワイン造りをできるかもわからない、そんなブドウの世話を続けたのです。 日本にもファンの多いマルク ペノのワインをこのまま失ってしまうのは、あまりにも残念でならないと考えた野村ユニソン株式会社と現地フランスのパートナー、エノコネクション社は、ペノ氏の所有するワイナリー「ドメーヌ ド ラ セネシャリエール」の経営を引き継ぐことを決め、2008年8月には全ての登録・認可を終了し、正式に再スタートを切ることとなりました。懸案だった問題も解決し、マルク ペノ氏は、よりいっそうの情熱をもってブドウの栽培やワイン造りにあたっています。 現在ドメーヌでは15ha以上の畑を管理しており、その栽培と醸造をマルク ペノ氏が担っています。12月から4月までの期間にほぼ休みなく続く剪定作業などその作業は膨大ですが、ワイン造りにかける意欲は損なわれることはなく、品質向上のための改善を日々積み重ねています。 収穫の際には全て手摘みによって行い、痛んだ果実を排除して腐敗果の混入を防ぎます。この地域では考えられない程、収穫量は低く抑えられており、結果として他には見られないような果実味が溢れたムロン ド ブルゴーニュやグロプランとなります。「収穫量を抑える」と一口に言ってもムロン ド ブルゴーニュやグロプランという品種では非常に深刻な問題に直面します。それは、この種のワインは安価なものがほとんどで、量を減らして美味しいワインを造るよりも生産量を増やして販売量を増やしたほうが経済的には有利であるということです。つまり収穫量を2/3や1/2まで減らしてもムロン ド ブルゴーニュやグロプランといったワインを通常の2倍、3倍の価格で販売する事は難しいということです。それでもなお品質追求をするマルク ペノ、まさに情熱のなせる業です。 醸造に関しても、マルク ペノならではのアイデアで彼独自のワインを生み出しています。そのひとつが、香りの弱いムロン ド ブルゴーニュやフォル ブランシュを12時間かけてじっくりプレスすることによって果汁と果皮の接触時間をとり、香りや旨味を引き出す手法を採用しています。いわゆるマセラシオン（醸し）と同様のアプローチで、もともとは赤ワインの醸造におけるマセラシオン カルボニック法と同様のもので、ボジョレーのマルセル ラピエールの考えから着想を得たと言います。また「ニュイタージュ」と名付けられたワインでは、12時間のプレスの前に15時間ほどマセラシオンを行い爽快ながらもより深みのある風味を引き出す手法も採用しています。この「Nuitage = ニュイタージュ」は、フランス語で「夜」を意味する「Nuits = ニュイ」に発酵させることにかけています。 発酵中は酵母が生み出す二酸化炭素の働きによって酸化を防ぎ、酸化防止剤となる亜硫酸の添加は、瓶詰めの際に極少量にとどめています。またペノ氏はコルクの品質にも細心の注意を払い、複数の生産者と共同でコルクを購入し、そのコルクをロットごとに化学的な検査に出しています。その検査結果をみてブショネのリスクが少ないもののみを使用しています。 ※輸入元資料より
