日本代购-スタッグス・リープ　ワイン・セラーズ スタッグス・リープ・ワインセラーズは、シカゴ大学で講師を勤めていた ウォレン・ウィニアルスキ氏が、その職を去り設立しました。彼はナパヴァレー内の小地区、スタッグススリープ・ディストリクトの気候がカベルネの栽培に最適であると確信し、世界レベルのワイン造りへの挑戦を始めました。1970年にスタッグス・リープ・ヴィンヤードを取得。1972年に醸造所が設立されました。 設立後間もない、1976年5月、後に「パリ・テイスティング事件」と呼ばれる、アカデミー・デュ・ヴァンが主催のフランスワイン対カリフォルニアワインのブラインドテイスティングをしたところ、シャトー・ムートン・ロスチャイルドやシャトー・オー・ブリオンを抑え、見事1位に輝いたのが、スタッグス・リープ・ワイン・セラーズの“Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 1973”でした。1973年はスタッグス・リープ・ワイン・セラーズにとってファーストヴィンテージ、しかも樹齢わずか3年のワインが起こした「歴史的瞬間」としてフランスワイン界を震撼させ、アメリカを始めとしたニューワールドのワイン界に歓喜と勇気を与えました。同時にワイナリ—としても、熱狂的なファンを世界中に持つようになりました。 グレイスファミリーの一族で、自然の力を応用した病虫害対策においてカリフォルニアで第一人者と言われているカーク　グレイス氏が栽培責任者として、区画毎に畑の管理を行っています。畝間にその土地に最適な草を植えて土壌の改善や益虫を集めたり、キャノピーマネジメント（摘芯や除葉など）により日照を良くしたりして、畑の健全化を図っています。 2013年から、コル　ソラーレのワインメーカーを経験したマーカス　ノタロ氏が醸造責任者を務めています。醸造所は重力に沿って醸造過程が進むグラヴィティシステムを採用、発酵時に出るブドウの搾りかすを手作業で取り除くなど、果汁に出来る限りストレスをかけない造りをしています。熟成はフレンチオークは100％使用しています。 《STAG'S LEAP》 stag＝牡鹿、leap＝飛ぶを意味し、ネイティブアメリカンがこの地で生活していた時代、狩猟で追い込んだ牡鹿が谷を飛び越え逃れたという逸話に由来。ラベルにも描かれている牡鹿は「勇気・雄々しさ・躍動感」の象徴で、ワインのスタイルとしても表現されています。 　■ スタッグス・リープ　フェイ・エステート　カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン1961年にネイサン　フェイ氏が植樹したフェイ　ヴィンヤードのカベルネ　ソーヴィニヨンから造られるワイン。赤と黒系ベリー、サンダルウッドやバニラなど魅惑的な香りを持ち、熟したタンニン、バランスの良い酸味、きめ細かい舌触りを持ちます。ステンレスタンクで発酵後、マロラクティック発酵を行い、フレンチオーク樽（新樽約80％）で18〜19ヶ月熟成させます。
