日本代购-SKEWed（スキュー）ROPER JACKET（ローパージャケット） 別注 デニム デニムジャケット ジージャン トラッカージャケット Wrangler ラングラー デッドストック生地 セットアップ デニムの特性を生かしたオリジナリティあふれるプロダクト 日本生まれのジーンズメーカーEDWINが25年春夏シーズンよりスタートさせるSKEWed（スキュー）。 「SKEWed」は、デニム用語の「スキュー加工」と「EDWIN」を組み合わせた名前で、プロジェクト名でありブランド名でもある。 スキュー(Skew Skew）加工とは、デニム特有の捩れを解消するための加工のこと。 綾織りは経糸が緯糸を2 本もしくは3 本飛び越えているために経糸が緯糸を引っ張ってしまい斜行（ねじれ）が生じる。 このネジレを解消する為に、生地の段階でネジレ方向に力を掛け先にネジってしまう加工スキュー(Skew Skew）加工が存在する。 それにより、独特な立体感と存在感のあるシルエットが生まれるようになるのだ。 ちなみに古着屋で見かけるヴィンテージデニムでよくワタリから裾にかけて捻れが生じているものを見ることがよくあるが、それは1960年代以前のヴィンテージはこの加工が一般的ではなかった時代があったからである。 EDWIN本体では実現できないアイデアやアプローチを試みており、日本を代表する老舗デニムブランドEDWINを背景に某3大デニムブランドのディテールを踏襲しつつも、SKEWed独自のフィルターで解釈し新たなプロダクトを生み出していく。 今回の1stコレクションでは、Jeans Wearの代名詞でありAmerican Big 3と称される”L/L/W”3ブランドの代表商品のセットアップを SKEWed的解釈でアップデートし、表現。 ブランド名である”SKEWed”=ネジレ、そしてオリジナルの持つ商品の特徴を生かしながら現代風の”giant fit”なサイジングを施している。 1948年から51年モデルの「11MJ/111MJ」をインスパイアしたモデル。 111MJはWranglerのファーストタイプとして認識され、506XXの影響を受けながらも独自のディティールを加えた名作としても知られている。 特にジョン・レノンがビートルズに在籍していた頃から好んで着用していたことでも有名。 本モデルはフロントの四角いボックス留めのダブルプリーツ、動きやすさを考慮した背面のアクションプリーツなど、二つのモデルのディティールをミックスすることで、Wranglerの意匠を汲みながらもSKEWedらしい独創的なデザインへと昇華させている。 今回はさらにMOONLOID別注として、Wranglerが保有する貴重なデッドストックファブリックを落とし込んだ渾身の一着だ。 Wranglerブランドは1948年に左綾織のデニムを採用。 同じ左綾のLeeと異なるのはデニムの色目である。 染色濃度が低いことによる、独特のRODEO BLUEカラー。 また、他と比べて経糸の本数が少ないことも独特のBLUEに見えることを助長している。 インラインは経糸に7番手、緯糸に6番手の糸を撚り合わせているが、今回の別注では本来のWrangler伝統の左綾デニムにより近づけることを目的に経糸に6番手、緯糸に6番手の物を使用している。 通常よりも太めの糸だが、その分経糸の本数が抑えられることによって、強度がありながらもしなやかな着用感を生み出すことができる。 それだけでなく、60年代のVintage Wranglerのデニムを分析し、糸のスラブ形状、色目に至るまでオリジナルの製法を忠実に再現。 インラインに比べ、より青みの深さが際立ったRODEO BLUEは履き込んでいくことでオリジナルに近いやや黄身がかったBLUEへと色落ちしていく。 オリジナルと遜色がないほどのクオリティを誇るこのデニムを一から着て、自分だけの一着に育てていくことができる。 多くの洋服好きにとって、これほど楽しみなことはないだろう。 肩が適度に落ち、リラックス感のあるシルエットは現代ファッションにも馴染みやすく、着丈もインナーをイン・アウトの両方で着ることができ、かつ野暮ったさを感じさせない絶妙な長さに調整されている。 同じWranglerデニムをインスパイアとした、ウォッチポケットパンツとのセットアップもおすすめだ。 ブランドのこだわりが遺憾無く発揮された珠玉のアイテム。 ぜひ多くの人に堪能してもらいたい。 ■商品番号/ SKEWed-JKT-03 メーカー希望小売価格はメーカー商品タグに基づいて掲載しています
