日本代购-吹奏楽のための練習曲集 Vol.1 編曲：長谷健志 監修：渡部哲哉 演奏時間：12'00" グレード：3 今から1000年ほど前、中世イタリアの教会で音楽の指導をしていたグイード・ダレッツォ（Guido d'Arezzo）は、元同僚へ宛てた手紙に『歌手が1音1音モノコードで音を合わせる練習方法では、いつまでたっても合唱で音を合わせることはできない』と書きました。 グイードは、音の高さを絶対音感として教える従来の方法では成果が得られなかった経験から、音の高さを相対音感として教えるやりかたの方が良いと気づき、「歌詞の段落ごとに最初の音が1音ずつ高くなる歌」を使って音を覚える方法によって（ローマ教皇の目の前で指導方法の実演をする羽目になるほどの）大きな成功を収めました。 「音程」とは2つの音の間の幅の大きさですので、前後の音程がメロディー、上下の音程がハーモニーです。つまり、（「音楽の3要素」 を基準にすれば）音楽はリズムを除くすべてが「音程」で成り立っているわけです。 本来的に音楽的である純粋な音程では音階上の全音の幅はバラバラで、全音の半分が半音でもありません。複数の調に対応するにはそれぞれの音に対して複数のピッチの音が必要です。しかし、ピアノなどの鍵盤楽器では演奏中に調律を変更できず、音程を妥協するしかありません。音楽はリズムを除くすべてが音程によって成り立っているというのに、それを妥協するとは何ということでしょう。 一方、吹奏楽で使用する楽器は音程に合わせて各音のピッチをリアルタイムに調整することが可能ですが、その反面、その調整のためには演奏者自身がイントネーション（いわゆる音程感）を身に付けておくことが必要になります。 この「吹奏楽のための練習曲集」では、音楽を楽しみながらイントネーションを身に付け、和声感、調性感あふれる音楽の基礎づくりを目的としています。 （この曲集のポイント） ◆ イントネーションを育てる旋律的音程と和声的音程がわかりやすい音楽 ◆ 様式や技法への理解が深まる音楽史上の大作曲家による音楽 ◆ 各楽曲の紹介と関連キーワードなど音楽の理解に役立つ解説 ◆ 小編成（最低4名）から大編成まで対応可能 ◆ 練習の成果をそのままステージでもつかえる聴き映えのする編曲 楽曲解説以外にも練習のヒントとなる情報を掲載しました。練習内容の策定にお役立ていただければ幸いです。 （長谷 健志） ○収録楽曲 1. 音程の練習 2. 第9ミサの「サンクトゥス」によるユニゾンと完全5度の練習（グレゴリオ聖歌） 3. エサイの根より（伝承曲／M.プレトリウス） 4. イエスの甘美なる思い（T.L.ヴィクトリア） 5. 千々の悲しみ（ジョスカン・デ・プレ） 6. 泉の水を求める鹿のように（G.P.パレストリーナ）
