日本代购-《伝統品種タナを復興させた南西フランス最高の生産者》アラン・ブリュモン氏は、有名AOCとは言えなかったマディランに世界の目を向けさせた偉大な造り手。マディラン＝シャトー・モンテュスと言っても過言ではないでしょう。マディランは古くからの産地ではあるものの、ボルドーの影に隠れ、不遇な時期やワインのスタイルを失った時期がありました。しかしブリュモン氏は、本来のマディラン・ワインを復活させるべく、この地方で古くから栽培されているタナ種で濃厚で力強いワイン造りに取り組み、現在の高い評価を得るまでになりました。フォアグラやキャビアなどの高級食材の産地でもあるこの地を、世界一のガストロノミーの産地として認知されるよう努め、この地方最高の生産者と謳われるようになってからも、さらなる可能性を追い求め走り続けています。91年にはフィガロ紙のプロによるアンケートで「最優秀葡萄栽培者」、97年にはフランス最高の勲章であるレジョン・ドヌールを授章。世界中の多くの三ツ星レストランも採用する生産者です。《「南西地方のペトリュス」を体感せよ！》ヴァン・ド・レジョンド誌が「南西地方のペトリュス」と称したのがこちら。シャトー・モンテュスのスペシャル・キュヴェ「キュヴェ・プレステージ」です。スタンダードのシャトー・モンテュスがタナ80%、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン20%なのに対し、こちらのキュヴェ・プレステージはタナ100%。非常に力強く大柄ながら、繊細さも感じられるまさに逸品と呼ぶにふさわしいワイン。フルボディの経験値を十分にお持ちのワイン上級者にお薦めします。しっかり綺麗に熟成した2002年ヴィンテージ。《シニアソムリエまーちゃんのテイスティング》濃い深紅。ベリーフルーツ、コーヒーなどの濃厚な香り。味わいもまた濃厚で大変力強いです。アタックからドライプルーンやベリーフルーツのジャムのような凝縮感で噛めるほどの味わいの厚み。円やかで芳醇なタンニン、味わい豊かで大柄。「美しきタンニン」とでも言うべき余韻が大変長く、重低音を思わせる響きのよう。剛健さと上品さを併せ持つ逸品です。普段の食事に合わせて何となく開けるには少々重いです。是非、ワイン好きのお客様へのおもてなしやお祝い事など、特別な機会に楽しんで頂きたいと思います。上質の牛肉のお供にはこの上ないマリアージュですよ！3-6週間にも及ぶ長期発酵。熟成：14-16ヵ月（新樽100%）　ノンフィルター。《偉大なワインを産んだ人生の大いなる賭け！》1980年、このテロワールからグラン・ヴァンが生まれると直感したアランはシャトー・モンテュスと20haの畑を購入。これは彼の人生の大きな賭けでした。彼にとっては素晴らしい財宝のような土地でも、大きな平たい丸い石に覆われたこの地を誰もポテンシャルがあると思っていなかったのです。数年かけ、様々なぶどう品種を各テロワールに植えて、全くの独学で試行錯誤を繰り返す中、この地こそが最高品質のワインを生み出すテロワールに違いないという直感は、いつしか確信へと変わり ました。1985年、かつて誰も行わなかったタナ80%、カベルネ・ソーヴィニョン20%というアッサンブラージュのシャトー・モンテュスを発売して大きな注目を集めてからも、テロワールを反映したグラン・ヴァンのリリースを重ね、フランスの著名なワイン評論家、ミッシェル・ベタンヌに「他のアイコンと呼ばれた人々が300年かけて築いた実績を、彼はわずか30年で成し遂げてみせた」と言わせるまでの生産者となったのです。《最高のテロワールとブリュモン・メソッド》ピレネー山脈に並行するように20?にわたって連なる10ほどのテロワール。ガレ、メニール状の巨石、小石が混じる赤粘土質に灰色粘土質、白粘土質、そして砂利質……狭い範囲にこれだけ多彩なテロワールが混在するマディランのような土地は非常に珍しく、フランスでも他に類を見ません。これらのテロワールは世界的なワイン銘醸地に非常に近い特徴を備えており、テロワールの個性をそれぞれ発揮させるワインを造っています。常に常識の逆を突く、アラン・ブリュモン。他の生産者は斜面を避けて真南にぶどうを植えているのに対し、アラン・ブリュモンでは異なる気象特性を生かすため東西南北の四方を向いた、急斜面で栽培したり、この地方では伝統的にひと枝につき2つの房を残すところ、アラン・ブリュモンは1つにしたり、独自の理論でぶどう栽培をしています。また、畑の周りの生態系を守るというのも特徴のひとつです。むやみに開墾することなく、動物・植物・ぶどうの株の根元に生える下草や苔などを自然のままに残すことで、土壌の下では微生物の活動が盛んになり、ぶどうの樹に養分を送りこむことができるため、ぶどうの品質向上につながるのです。さらに、アラン・ブリュモンにとって所有する90のテロワールを見て回り、現場のスタッフに話を聞くのが欠かせない日課となっています。より品質の高いぶどうを得るために、日々テロワールの様子を肌で感じ、そこで呼吸をし、自然の声を聴いているスタッフたちを通して、大地を分析、理解し、この理論を確立させています。《最高のテロワールとブリュモン・メソッド》アラン・ブリュモン氏がフランスワイン界に与えた影響は大きく、1991年にゴー・ミヨ誌で80年代を代表するワインメーカーに選出され、1997年にはナポレオン1世により制定されたフランス最高勲章「レジョン・ドヌール」を受勲。評価はフランス国内にとどまらず世界の有名雑誌にて賞賛されており、シャトー・ブースカッセはワイン・エンスージアスト誌2016年のセラーセレクションTOP100では9位に選出。最も消費者の手に届く価格でありながら、ボルドーの有名シャトーを抑えて、「長期熟成に適したワイン」に選ばれたことはアラン・ブリュモンにとって、何よりの誇りです。更に2020年には評価本「ベタンヌ・エ・ドゥソーヴ（旧クラスマン）」で、「フランス南西地方唯一の5つ星生産者」と評価を獲得。 「南西地方のペトリュス」「テロワールの天才」などと喩えられるようになった今も、「私の務めはテロワールに自ら語らせること。新たな味わいを創りだすのに必要な素材は、全てこの地に揃っているのだから。私はただテロワールの個性を引き出し、全体の調和を図っているに過ぎない。」と、テロワールを反映したワイン造りにこだわり、その高いポテンシャルを世界に発信し続けています。《世界中の高級赤ワインの序列を揺るがしてきたシャトー・モンテュス》シャトー・モンテュスはかつてナポレオンにワインを提供していた由緒あるシャトーで、アランは子供時代からこのシャトーに親しんでいました。久しぶりにそこを訪れたのは、ここで家財道具のオークションが開かれた時。アランは城館を取り囲むテロワールに引き付けられます。1980年にシャトーを買い取り、廃墟となっていた城館を少しずつ修復。ガレに表面を覆われた粘土質の斜面は、長熟型のグラン・ヴァンを生み出すのに最適な土壌だったのです。彼はこの地で最上のワインができると直感し、かつてなかったタナ80%、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン20%というアッサンブラージュでシャトー・モンテュスの初ヴィンテージ1982年を世に送り出しました。1995年には新醸造所を完成させ、城館はラグジュアリーな迎賓館として2003年に改装されています。1990年、長いこと夢見ていた理想の区画が、子どものころから慣れ親しんだ地にあることにアランは気が付きました。通常はぶどうを植えることのない真西を向いた、誰も手をつけなかった10ヘクタールの未開の斜面 四方を見渡せる、ACマディランで最も標高の高い丘です。舞台が用意されると、伝説の幕が切って落とされました。西向き斜面から造った初めてのワインは、いままでの真南向きの斜面からのワインとは全く違う味わいに仕上がりました。その後も、最高峰の「ラ・ティル」は一株につき250gの房を5つ、最大でも6つしか残さないなど徹底した作業を続けた結果、稀少価値のあるグランヴァンとしての地位を徐々に確立。丘の頂上の樹齢200年のオークには木造見晴台が設置され、足元に広がるぶどう畑に爽やかな風がふきぬけていく風景を楽しむことができます。ここはワイン愛好者が好んで訪れるワインツアーの名所となっています。
