日本代购-　 　　※岡重とは 1855年（安政2年）、創設者岡島卯三郎は染色加工を修めた後 京都美術学校（現・京都市立芸術大学）で教鞭を取るなど道を極めました。 彼の長男で二代目の岡島重助は呉服の裏地の染色加工を専門に営み その優れた技術力で高い評価を得、その時代 京都の友禅業界に名を轟かせました。 その後戦争により事業は一時中断されましたが 戦後すぐに国の技術保存工場として発展し 三代目は第一回京都府産業功労者賞を受賞しております。 その長男現社長の岡島重雄は、友禅染を格段高い視点でとらえ 小紋や更紗柄のおしゃれ提案を中心に老舗として高級呉服をさらに発展させる一方 呉服のみならずファッションアクセサリーの製作など、様々な分野に取り組んでいます。 （株）岡重専属の図案開発スタッフと本社実験工房（アトリエ）の 彩色開発スタッフが創作したデザインは 社内外の専属職人が京都・東京・インドネシア・ミラノで 全行程ハンドメイドで製作を試みるなど、さらなる研究が進んでおります。 さらに、京都では本社屋の町家造りを改修保存し 文化的ギャラリー遊空間Rojiを運営、インドネシアではチャンチン染（バティック更紗）の 援助をするなど、岡島重雄は日本、アジアの伝統文化工芸の保存 伝承、東西のアート、デザインの交流、発展を常に考えております。 友禅という技法で、これからの染め業界の発展と 常に現代のライフスタイルに似合ったもの作りを目指しております。 ※岡重沿革 京都が誇る世界にも稀な手描き・手染めの彩色法で描く繊細な柄…。 日本を代表する友禅染が世に生まれたのは江戸時代中期の初め、貞享・元禄の頃、 京都祇園町に住む扇絵師、宮崎友禅斎により完成したと伝えられています。 豪華な多色使いを駆使した画期的な染めは、当時行われていた大方の染物が すっかり顔色を失ってしまうほどの勢いで流行したといいます。 友禅染の特色は、技術的には、どのような文様・図柄でも好みのままに 自由に表現が可能で、絹帛ならではの柔らかな風合いを損なうこと無しに 染色が出来、また特有の表現方法として「ぼかす」という技術が駆使されているということです。 それは見るものを引き入れる深さや動きを感じさせる日本美の典型と言えます。 この世界一美しい文様染であると言っても決して過言ではない 京友禅は、華やか・繊細・うるおい・内容の深さなど、様々な賛辞を受けつつ、今日に生きています。 一代目　岡島卯三郎 1855年代後半に設立。京都美術学校（現・京都市立芸術大学）で教鞭を取る。 二代目　岡島重助 呉服の裏地の染色加工を専門に営む。 三代目　岡島重助 正絹専門染色工業として発展させる。 1983年、第一回京都府産業功労者賞を受賞。 四代目　岡島重雄 現在の社長。正絹手描き加工着尺を中心とした手描き友禅に発展。 1990年、友禅のように筆を使って絹に染色していく技法は 世界にも例がなく、それを着物の世界だけに止めておかず この技術を他に活かす道がないかと考え絹製ファッションアクセサリーに着手。 以降、ブランドの立ち上げや、文化催事「秘められた染め羽裏の美」展　等を手がける。 アジアの伝統文化工芸の保存、伝承、東西アートデザインの交流発展を常に考えております。
