日本代购-※こちらは協力インポーターより仕入れのため通常よりも1~2営業日余分に発送までお時間を頂戴する場合があります。 スイカズラやメロン、青りんご等のフレッシュなアロマに、香ばしいアーモンドやキーライム、微かな蜜蝋、火打石などが感じられ、長い後味へと続きます。ヤクービアン・ホブス(Yacoubian-Hobbs)はヤクービアン兄弟と世界的醸造家ポール・ホブス(PaulHobbs)のコラボレーション・ワイナリーです。ヴァイケン・ヤクービアンは2003年に妻とのディナーで飲んだ2001ポール・ホブスピノ・ノワールキュヴェ・オグスティナに強い感銘を受け、その感動をワイナリーへのメールで表します。数日後、ポール本人からヴァイケンに返事があり、お互いのワインへの深い情熱と想いを共有し、意気投合します。その2年後、ポールはヤクービアン兄弟の故郷アルメニアを視察し、この歴史的産地でのワイン造りのポテンシャルを強く感じます。2007年に「アレニ1」の内部で6100年前のワイン醸造施設が発見された事を受け、話が急ピッチで進みます。翌年2008年にパートナーシップを正式にし、ヤクービアン・ホブスをスタートさせます。2014年にはヴァヨッツ・ゾール地方のアガヴナツゾール村(Aghavnadzor)にある「アレニ1」から目と鼻の先、標高1,200メートルにある畑を購入しブドウを植樹します。ヤクービアン兄弟とポールのミッションは、ワイン発祥の地の一つとされるアルメニアの歴史と伝統を守りながら、世界が注目するハイクオリティのアルメニア産ワインを造ることです。紀元前4100年~世界最古のワイン醸造所~ アルメニアはワイン発祥の地の一つとされていて、2007年にはヴァヨッツ・ゾール地方（VayotsDzor）の洞窟「アレニ1」の内部で6100年前のワイン醸造施設が発見されました。後に、この洞窟で発見された発酵槽や瓶の科学的分析が行われ、赤ワインの色の元になる植物色素が付着していることが明らかになり、ワイン製造を行った痕跡としては、最も古く確実な物と証明されました。見つかった黒ブドウのつるや皮、種等はDNA研究の結果、現地の土着品種として広く知られる「アレニ」であり、現存する世界のヴィニフェラ種の中で最も歴史的なブドウの一つだと判明しました。「アレニ」は酸が豊かで、タンニンの成分は中程度のブドウ品種です。ヴァヨッツ・ゾールは首都エレバン(Yerevan)から約100km南東にあり、アルメニアで最も重要な農業拠点とされています。その中でも火山性土壌の中に石灰岩が点在するアガヴナツゾール村(Aghavnadzor)周辺が、栽培種のブドウに適していると言われています。昼夜の寒暖差が大きく、とても乾燥しているブドウ産地です。＜黒ブドウ品種＞ Areni アルメニア土着の古代品種であるアレニは、標高の高い山岳地帯であるヴァヨッツ・ゾールに適しています。この晩熟品種は、フレッシュでエレガント、骨格のあるワインを造り、鮮やかな赤い果実味と、特徴的な黒胡椒のスパイスを持ちます。＜白ブドウ品種＞ Voskehat アルメニアを代表する白ブドウ品種ヴォスケハットは「黄金の実」と訳されます。果皮が厚く、アガヴナツゾールの岩だらけの高地で、暑い夏と寒く厳しい冬に耐えられるブドウ品種です。ヴァラエタルワインやブレンドワインに使用され、花のようなアロマとトロピカルフルーツや核果の風味をワインにもたらします。Khatuni カトゥーニはミディアムサイズで、皮が厚いブドウ品種です。さわやかな酸味とフローラルな香りをブレンドに与えます。Qrdi クルディはとても晩熟なブドウ品種です。ブレンドとして使われることが多く、ワインにフレッシュさを与えます。GaranDemak ガラン・デマックは「羊の尾」を意味し、岩の多い半砂漠の土壌を好むブドウ品種です。繊細な果実のアロマと、まろやかな舌触りをワインに与えます。
