日本代购-■サイズ：直径約50×H約20cm ■重さ：約600g ■素材：メゴ笹 ■原産国：日本製・国産幻の籠 ご年輩の方なら、ご覧になったことのある方もおられるかも知れませんが、若い方はほとんどご存じないと思います。ボクも入社して3年間は話に聞くだけで、実際に見たことがなかった幻の籠です。これだけの仕事のできる職人さんが一人しかいなくて、当社でも3〜4年間欠品扱いになっていた幻のメゴ笹かご。こういう本物をあと何年提供できるかわかりませんが、こんな物が日本にはあったんだ、と言うことを知るだけでもいいと思います。 失われた暮らしの道具 竹虎には、昔はあたりまえだった道具たちがいくつかあります。今ではプラスチックや新素材、安価に大量生産される品々におされて消えかけたり、忘れられたり、なくなったり。そんな道具の中に竹皮ぞうりがあります。ご存じの方はあまりいないかも知れませんが、この竹皮ぞうりはほんの数十年前までは小学校の上履きとして履かれていた日常使いの道具でした。板張りの校舎で遊び盛りの小学生が走ったり、飛んだり、はねたり…。実際の暮らしの中で鍛えられた一流の道具でしたので丈夫なのも頷けます。 忘れられかけていたこの逸品が近年では少しづつ良さが見直されお陰様でみなさまにも広く知っていただけるようになり 本当にありがたいと思っています。 幻の籠復活 実は、このメゴ笹洗濯かごも竹皮ぞうりのように昔は一般的な道具だったのに消えかかっていたいえ、なくなっていた逸品の一つです。当社でも「幻の籠」といわれて、入社してから数年間は話だけで見たことがなかった籠です。ようやく一人だけ残っていた職人さんにどうにかお話させていただいてまた作っていただけるようになりました。でも、ご高齢のうえ、材料の上質なメゴ笹があまりなくって本当になかなか編み上がりません。竹は伐採の時期もきまっていますから、一年のうちいつでも伐採して製作できるものでもなく、やはり「幻の籠」でした。 卓越した匠の技 長年の慣れた手付きで1個あみあげるのには数時間あればできてしまうのですが、それまでの材料採り、選別にはホントに気を使われています。そして、素材の選別以上に、仕上げの丁寧さ、太さ、色目、竹質を吟味して仕上げていくこと。卓越した職人の匠の技があればこその永く使える逸品なのです。職人が世代交代したりしながら何とか続いているメゴ笹細工、美しい出来映えですが、天然素材の笹を選別してそのまま使用する手作りのため、素材の太さ、できあがりのサイズに多少違いがありますのでご了解ください。 メゴ笹について強靭なしなりの素材、メゴ笹メゴ笹は一般的には酉の市でオタフクを飾ることからオカメザサ、あるいは神楽に使うカグラザサと呼ばれます。稈の高さが1〜2メートル、直径が3〜5ミリと小さいことから笹と名前が付いていますが竹の仲間で、細いながらも非常に丈夫で強い性質を持っています。厳しい素材選び良くしなり強靱な繊維をもったメゴ笹は割ったりせずにそのまま丸竹の状態で籠に製作するのですが、伐採してから時間が経つにつれて硬くなるため手早く編み込む必要があります。丸竹のまま編まれた籠は、ケバ立ちや、ささくれがなく表面はつるつるツヤツヤで小さなお子様が素手でふれても大丈夫な事から洗濯籠などに多用されてきました。 通気性のよい上げ底 上げ底にすることで洗濯物の出し入れが容易で、風通しもよくなっています。 経年変色について 竹製品は、竹を伐ったばかりの青々とした製品から時が経つにつれて少しづつ色が落ち着いていきます。だんだんと渋い色目に変化し使うごとに艶がましてくる竹細工の風合いをお楽しみいただきたいと思っています。 サイズ 天然素材を手作りしておりますので、形や色目、大きさが写真と若干違う場合があります。 ※保管方法 保管の際には直射日光を避け、風通しの良い場所でお願いいたします。ビニール袋など通気性の悪いものにいれての保管はカビの原因となりますのでご注意ください。 ※メゴ笹洗濯かごの中には3本で編まれているものがございます。ご使用には差し支えございませんので何卒宜しくお願いします。
