日本代购-■サイズ：約直径24×長さ90cm ■重さ：約850g ■素材：真竹、籐 ■原産国：日本製・国産通気性抜群！熱がこもらず涼しい 竹で編まれた抱き枕は、「抱き籠」「竹夫人」などともよばれて寝苦しい夏の夜の安眠アイテムとして古くから愛用されてきました。竹ならではの冷たい感触、中が空洞で通気性がよくエアコンの設定温度もすこし調整できそうな、涼しいエコ枕なのです。 竹の優れた放熱性と心地よい眠りを誘う曲線美 竹林で竹をさわったときヒヤリと心地よい冷たさを感じたことはありませんでしょうか？竹は他の植物にくらべてケタ違いに材質の密度が高く管状繊維の集合体です。熱をとても吸収し発散してくれます。目にも清々しいしなやかな白竹を使って、微妙なくびれのある美しいフォルムに仕上げました。抱きやすく知らないまに深い眠りに誘われそうです。 熟練職人の丁寧な仕事 なめらかで、肌にやさしい竹の表皮にするために、熟練竹職人が慎重に、何度も確かめながら編み上げています。 白竹抱き枕の製造 空調のととのっていなかった昔から涼を感じさせる竹は、暑い季節を快適にすごすためになくてはならないものでした。そして、暮らしの中で沢山あった竹製品のひとつに夏の快眠用として抱き枕があったのです。竹の肌ざわり、清々しさ、弾力性。考えてみたらこれほど適した素材は他にあまり見あたりません。白竹の抱き枕をご覧いただくことで、また竹の魅力を思い起こし、広く知っていただけるのではないかと考えています。今回の抱き枕は何といっても涼しさ。ヒンヤリする肌ざわりを一番に考えて白竹で作りました。すでにある編み方で、もともとあったものを復刻させるのだから、比較的容易にできるかもと考えていました。 しかし、太さや形など職人さんとやり取りをくり返しているうちに、思っている以上に時間がかかってしまいます。でも、試行錯誤をしてもらっただけのことはあり、流れるようなフォルム。まるでオブジェと見間違えるような柔らかい洗練されたデザイン。これだけの美しいものができあがる日本の匠の技はまだまだ捨てたものではないと思うのです。連日つづく熱帯夜、じっとり汗ばむ夜にもエアコンや扇風機だけに頼らずに、ぐっすり朝までお休みいただく手助けがこのような竹で出来れば本当に嬉しいです。ちなみに試作時につくった抱き枕は、竹虎の事務所にそのまま逆さに立てて置いています。そう、ちょっとしたインテリアになりますから、涼しくなってきたら物入れにしまいこむのではなくて、お部屋に置いて是非楽しんでいただきたいのです。電球と組み合わせると面白い照明にもなるかも知れません。 しなやかさと強さの秘密は2枚剥ぎ 1本の真竹を菊割とよばれる竹割道具で縦に長く割ったあと、一枚一枚丹誠こめて竹ヒゴを均等にとっていきます。編み込みばかりに目がいきがちですが、実は竹ひごとりが熟練職人の腕のみせどころでもあり、このヒゴ取りで竹編みの善し悪しが決まってしまうのです。1つの抱き枕が完成するまでには、竹ひご作りに半分以上の神経と時間が使われます。1本の薄くとった竹ひごをさらに上下2枚にはいでいきます。ここが職人芸、2枚はぎにすることで、より強度をたもちつつもソフトな感触の抱き枕ができあがります。 バンブーマジック 静かな工房でリズミカルに動く職人の手はまるで何かの魔法のよう。確実に編みあがり形づくられる工程に時を忘れて魅入っていると「バンブーマジック」こんな言葉もあながち大げさではないと思うのです。 うっとりヴィーナスライン この見事な曲線美はどうでしょうか?抱き心地の良い形です。 頭部分 頭部分から折れ曲がり伸びる縦ひごはしっかり強度をとって丈夫に編み込まれています。 2枚剥ぎ 竹ひごは2枚剥ぎになっており、しなやかなだけでなく頑丈です。 口部分 口は籐をきれいに処理してしっかり巻き付けています。 サイズ 天然素材を手作りしておりますので、形や色目、大きさ、ヒゴ幅、編み目などが写真と若干違う場合があります。 ※保管方法 保管の際には直射日光を避け、風通しの良い場所でお願いいたします。ビニール袋など通気性の悪いものにいれての保管はカビの原因となりますのでご注意ください。 ※細い竹の毛羽立ちが出ている場合がございますのでお取り扱いにはご注意ください。
