日本代购-■サイズ：約W14×H12.5×D14cm （持ち手までの高さ：約18cm) ■重さ：約210g ■素材：虎竹 ■原産国：日本製・国産可愛いミニバスケット 思わず手を差し伸べたくなるような 、小さな小さな、手付き虎竹バスケットです。机や自転車のかごにもきちんと収まるコンパクトサイズなミニバスケットは、ちょっとしたお出かけはもちろん、お家の中でもあれこれ活躍してくれそう。お菓子やメイク道具…何を詰めようか考えるだけで、口元がほころびます。 職人の技 虎竹で作る角物細工 ミニバスケットのような四角い形の竹細工は「角もの」と呼ばれます。正確さを要求される細工で寸分の違いもなく熟練の技で仕上げられますが、特に難度の高い小さな籠に使うのに虎竹は白竹に比べて扱いづらく、腕の良い職人にしか製作する事ができません。 しっかりボディ 小さな本体ですがコンパクトな竹編みも、作りは大きなピクニックバスケットと同じなので、サイズや見た目からは意外に思えるほどガッチリした作りとなっています。 日本で唯一 土佐の虎斑竹（とらふだけ）「虎斑竹（虎竹）」は淡竹（ハチク）の仲間に分類され、高知県須崎市安和の虎竹の里でのみ、稈の表面に虎模様が浮かぶ不思議な竹です。この模様は、幹に付着した寄生菌や潮風の作用によるとの学説もありますが、科学的には未だ解明されていません。実際に各地方に移植を試みましたが、何故か模様が付く事はありませんでした。明治44年、当時日本最高の植物学者達が絶滅寸前の虎斑竹の保護のために、建白書を時の政府に提出しました。これが今日の天然記念物条例発布の導火線となり、天然記念物保存法が発令され虎斑竹はその第一号の指定を受けたのです。海外メディアも取材に来た「ミラクルバンブー」左の写真が、自然に生えている状態の虎竹です。この虎竹をガスバーナーで炙り、竹自身から出る油分で拭き上げると右の写真のように虎模様がはっきりと浮かび上がります。この珍しい虎竹（Tiger Bamboo）を取材するために海外メディアまでもが虎竹の里を訪れ神秘的な虎竹に「ミラクル！」を連発されていました。竹職人達の想いが繋ぐ虎斑竹竹は秋から1月下旬までが伐採のシーズンです。虎竹もこの期間に一年分をまとめて伐ります。竹職人達は急勾配の山道を運搬機と共に分け入り、一日中重たく長い竹を切り運び出すのです。そして、大きさや品質で選別したのち、ガスバーナーによる油抜き、矯め直しという製竹作業を行います。一本一本の個性を最大限に生かすために、熟練した職人の手で竹を炙り、まっすぐに矯正されるのです。こうして製竹された虎竹が、様々な竹製品へと生まれ変わります。 釘とめ 本体縁部分は、真ちゅう釘でとめています。負荷のかかりやすい持ち手も、しっかりと釘とめをすることで耐久性が増すのです。真ちゅう釘の先端部分は丁寧に折り返しているので、中身を出し入れする際もひっかけたりすることはありません。 持ち手、本体の角部分について 直角に曲がった竹ヒゴは熱を加え手曲げしていますので、多少焦げ目がある場合があります。 底部分 底編みには4枚のしっかりした竹板がはめ込まれています。指でおしてもビクともしない堅牢さで、長くご愛用いただける丈夫な作りです。 確かな職人技 ミニバスケットは使っている竹材料は少なくてすむものの小さな本体は製作しづらく、より高い職人の技を要求されます。熟練竹職人のしっかりした技があってこそ出来る竹籠なのです。 持ち手 持ち手は自由に開閉しますので蓋の開け閉めにも便利です。 小さな相棒。 ミニバスケットはお弁当箱としてはもちろんお家の中の小物収納など、その小ささを活かした使い方が色々とあります。 サイズ 天然素材を手作りしておりますので、形や色目、大きさが写真と若干違う場合があります。ミニバスケットは、約12cm×12cmの用紙がスッキリ収まるサイズです。 ※お手入れ方法 お手入れはサッと手早く水洗いして完全に水分をふき取ったあと直射日光をさけて風通しのよい場所で十二分に乾燥させてください。浸け置き洗いや食器洗い機などのご使用は絶対にお避けくださいませ。 ※保管方法 保管の際には直射日光を避け、風通しの良い場所でお願いいたします。ビニール袋など通気性の悪いものにいれての保管はカビの原因となりますのでご注意ください。 ※細い竹の毛羽立ちが出ている場合がございますのでお取り扱いにはご注意ください。 ※ミニバスケットに蝶番は付いていません。 ※竹ひごの折れや割れについて バスケットの竹ヒゴ内側の一部が折れかけたり乾燥によってヒビ割れてくる場合があります。
