日本代购-ワイン名 Sula Vineyards. 2024 Zinfandel 産国 インド、マハラストラ州ナシク地区 生産者 スーラ・ヴィンヤード、オーナー：ラジーブ・サマント氏 醸造責任者 ケリー・ダムスキー氏 品種 ジンファンデル種100％ 醸造 タンク醗酵 アルコール度 13．0度 容量 750ml 栓 スクリュー・キャップ タイプ 赤ワイン。ミディアムボディ サービス 14℃〜17℃。 now 〜 2030 保存方法 保存する場合は紫外線を避け、冷暗所に。同じくスタンフォード大学を卒業したリッジ・ヴィンヤーズの天才醸造家、ポール・ドレーパーを敬愛して止まないラジーブ・サマント氏の情熱が生み出した初ヴィンテージでは僅か6,000本しか造られなかった赤。 ジンファンデル Zinfandel： 黒ブドウ。カリフォルニアのオリジナリティとも言えるほど、ローカリティな品種だが、原産地はハンガリーともイタリアとも言われ、カリフォルニアワインの父アゴストン・ハラジー卿の持ち込んだ苗木の一つといわれる。古木から造られるワインは、色濃くパワーに溢れる。 ジェラルド・アシャー著「世界一優雅なワイン選び」では下記のように説明されております。 ・・・その果実味がベリー系よりはプラム、生の果実よりは乾燥果を思わせ、どこかアプリコットとプルーンをしのばせる。ジンファンデル種というブドウは、同じ房の中に熟れすぎた乾しブドウと未熟ブドウが混在しやすく（いわゆる不均一熟成）、また収穫の直前に糖分が急増することでも有名。アルコール分は13〜14度に達し、他のカリフォルニア産テーブルワインの平均を上回る。 インド・ワインと聞いて猜疑心を持つ方も多いだろう。 しかし，そんな先入観を根底から覆す衝撃のインド・ワインが存在する。スタンフォード大学卒業後，シリコン・バレーで働いていたラジーヴ・サマントが故郷のインドに戻り，1997年に創設したスラ・ヴィンヤーズのワインだ。 驚くべきことに，スラ・ヴィンヤーズのワインはフランス，イタリア，イギリス，アメリカ，カナダといった古くからのワイン消費国に輸出され，伝統的なマーケットで大センセーションを巻き起こした。 しかし，それはインド・ワインという物珍しさからではない。超一流のワインのプロたちに高く評価されていることが最大の理由だ。 例えばフランスでは，アラン・デュカスの3つ星レストラン＜ルイ・キャーンズ＞にオン・リストされている。 もちろん，インド，いやアジア・ワインとして初めての快挙。 また，フランスのワイン・マニアに絶大な人気を誇るパリのカリスマ・ワイン・ショップ，ラヴィニア Laviniaが大々的にプロモーションを展開，ソーヴィニヨン・ブラン，シュナン・ブラン，ヴィオニエ，シラーズ，そしてジンファンデルが，品種別売上ランキングのトップ3にランキングされたという。 加えて，あの『ルヴュ・デュ・ヴァン・ド・フランス』までが，幾度となくスラ・ヴィンヤーズのワインを取り上げ，高く評価している。 アメリカでは，『ワイン・スペクテーター』が5ページにわたってスラ・ヴィンヤーズを大々的に特集。 日本でも、NHKでも紹介されたり、ワイン雑誌、ファッション誌などを中心にメディアの登場回数も多い。 最近では2016年3月22日の日経新聞の文化欄で紹介されました。 スラ・ヴィンヤーズのあるナシク Nasikは，ムンバイとプーンから200キロ離れたマハーラーシュトラ Maharashtra州北部にある産業と農業の地域。ガッツ Ghatsの西部，海抜610メートルのところにある。 世界では95-97%のブドウがワイン用に栽培されているが，インドでは最近まで99%近くのブドウが食用として栽培されていた。そして，そのブドウのほとんどがナシクで栽培されたものだった。 しかし，そのナシクでスラ・ヴィンヤーズがワイン用のブドウ栽培を成功させたことにより，多くの生産者がワイン用のブドウを栽培するようになってきている。スラはナシクにあるガンガプール Gangapurとディンドリ Dindoriに740ヘクタールを超える土地を所有。そのうち，約445ヘクタールは自社でブドウ栽培を行っており，その他は契約農家によって栽培が行われている。
