日本代购-新進気鋭のウイスキー・プライベートブランド・カンパニー、DRAMLAD（ドラムラッド）。    社名は、1杯のウイスキー（A Dram of Whisky）の「Dram」と、スコットランドで男性が「古い親友、気の置けない親友」に対して使う「LAD」を組み合わせたもので、「ウイスキーを楽しむ人」を表しています。また、そこから派生して「ウイスキーを共に楽しむ仲間」という意味も込められています。   業界歴の長いプロフェッショナルチーム（インポーター、BARオーナー、酒販店）によって運営されており、カスク選定には、チームでの採点制による得票や、フリーコメントによる官能評価を採用、信頼のリリースが期待されるブランドです。     以下、輸入元資料   今回のグレンマレイは、現行オフィシャルボトルの根底に流れるグレンマレイらしさと、伝統的なスペイサイドモルトらしさ、新旧のスタイルを併せ持ちつつも、複雑な展開を見せる香味が面白いボトルです。   トップノートや味わいは、まさに「今の」スペイサイドモルトらしい華やかさを持っているのですが、フィニッシュには、どこか懐かしさを感じさせるような牧歌的な趣があり、その違いが全体的に複雑な印象を与えています。グレンマレイのハウススタイルの1つに、クリアでライトボディながらもモルティな滋味が挙げられるかと思いますが、それが今のスペイサイドモルトらしい洗練された香味の奥からはっきりと現れており、テイスティング時にもそうした意見が多く挙がりました。   また、今回のグレンマレイも、著名なウイスキー評論家の山岡秀雄氏のご協力のもとで実現したボトリングです。もともと、何か面白いグレンマレイがあれば・・・と探していたところ、いくつかのヴィンテージをサンプリングすることができ、その中でも、特に複雑な展開を感じさせるフレーバーを持っていた本ボトルをセレクトすることになりました。   近年のバーボン樽のスペイサイドモルトの傾向として、洗練された華やかなボディを持つものが非常に多く見られ、どこに個性があるのかを注意深く探っていくことの必要性を強く感じているところです。このグレンマレイの、表面的な華やかさの奥にある複雑さを多くのお客様に感じ取っていただけましたら幸いです。       バレル熟成。       ＜輸入元テイスティング＞     香り：クリアで複雑なエステル香。シャルドネを思わせる白ワイン様の香りから、マジパンやシュトーレンの甘さが軽やかに広がり、乾いたオーク材、ハニートースト、その奥に干し草と微かなジンジャー感。   味　：滑らかで繊細な口当たり。フレッシュなオークと淡い粉砂糖に包まれたハッサクやライム、オレンジピール、プレーンなクラッカー。甘さ控え目ながらもモルティ—な香味もあり、飲むほどに印象が変わる複雑さを持つ。   余韻：ライトでシャープなキレ上がり。レモングラスやライムの皮の青いほろ苦さ、ジンジャーのスパイス感が舌に乗り、かすかなバタートースト、最後にバニラと木屑のような埃っぽい木香が残る。
